And now a word from
our (fiscal) sponsor
Fractured Atlas is a wonderful organization
which supports artists and small arts organizations like ours
by shepherding them under the umbrella of their 501(c)3 protection.
This allows individuals to give tax-deductible support artists and artistic
causes important to them. Fiscal sponsorship also
enables small organizations to grow responsibly; providing financial
oversight which helps ensure donation resources are used
properly. For more information feel free to email our Founder,
Maya Jewell by clicking on the email link at the bottom of the page.
What your gift
means
Your gift helps
shepherd the talent of new artists, providing them with the opportunities for
mentorship, education promotion and support that will help them create a
sustainable arts career. Your support will help revolutionize arts
industries; providing resources which aid in creating a philanthropic business model. One which ensures artists receive their
fair share of the revenue generated by their work with Bakery. A model which ensures Bakery of the Poets' ability to help
create artists regardless of the decimation of arts funding. For more information on our programs please contact our Founder,
Maya
Jewell by clicking on the link a the bottom of the page.
Help create a new
author!
Eric Pardue is an Air Force sergeant with a
story to tell. One which involves 14 countries in 40 days, the fog of
war and the mother of all divorces. Single Servings is a wonderful
novel currently being developed by Bakery and with your support will be
published in October of this year.
Our goal is to raise $8,000 over the next six
months to cover the project's costs. Your donations will directly help create a
new author. In addition to our usual (see next column)
acknowledgments; Eric's supporters
will be thanked in the acknowledgments of the published novel. Major donors (those who give $1,000.00 or more) have the opportunity
become
co-publishers whose names can be listed on the copyright and/or title pages
of the published novel. Those making gifts of over $2,000.00 will receive
personal correspondence from the author (now stationed in Greece) describing the
publication process and giving insight into his own creative process.
